Cron Job is considered a "Scheduled Task" on our Windows environment. We will treat the cron job the same with a scheduled task and therefore, the discussion below is pertaining a scheduled task request. Unfortunately, you cannot setup your own scheduled task directly via our Control Panel. However, we do permit a scheduled task to be executed on our environment. Since scheduled task is also one of the addons, you need to purchase it first via our Help Desk System-> Purchase Addon -> Scheduled Task Addon. Once the addon is purchased, you need to upload the script to your own FTP folder (such asprivatefolder). This script is subject to our review and we reserve full rights to reject your script (should we believe that your script contains malicious code or can create a potential threat to our server). If in case your script is rejected, you are eligible for the addon service fee refund. However, the addon setup fee is always non-refundable. If the script is approved, we will set it up on our server and the script will be executed at a certain period of time. We only permit you to execute your script at most once per day. If you need to execute the scripts multiple times in a day, you need to advise us the reasons to do so. Our management will review your request and we reserve full rights to reject your requests. |
