| If your site does not require a Secure Certificate (SSL) and you are not interested with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Service, you do not need a static IP. If you just want to temporarily preview your site on our server, you do not need a static IP. Instead, you can just modify your local HOSTS file. Please review this article for more information about editing a local HOSTS file. However, if you need an SSL and SEO, you must have a static IP. You can order a static IP via our Help Desk System -> Purchase Addon -> Static IP Addon. |
