| If you like to temporarily preview your site on our server, you can simply modify your local HOSTS file to point your domain to our server IP Address. The followings are the steps you need to complete: 1. Please go to C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc 2. Please locate the HOSTS file and please open this file by using Notepad 3. Please enter "the_shared_IP address www.yourDomain.com" and save this file. Please note that the_shared_IP_address is a shared IP address assigned to your website on our server. You can find your shared IP address on your activation email. 4. Please open your command prompt window and please try to PING www.yourDomain.com. If you see the_shared_IP_address, this means that you are ready to access your site via http://www.yourDomain.com, which is rendered from our server. Please be advised that since this is just a temporary URL, whatever changes you make to your website will NOT alter your live site. The following is just an example of a local HOSTS file: ![]() |
